This project was all about bringing the outdoors inside for a couple who loved spending their time on the deck, enjoying the view whenever the weather allowed. Their goal was to create a space where they could feel connected to nature year-round, regardless of the elements.

The Solution
To achieve this, we replaced their existing deck with a stunning sunroom designed to maximize the surrounding views. Large, wrap-around windows flood the space with natural light, offering an uninterrupted connection to the outdoors. For practicality and style, we installed durable and easy-to-maintain luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring, perfect for a high-traffic area like this. To maintain the home’s charm and continuity, we sourced brick to match the original exterior as closely as possible, blending the new addition seamlessly with the existing structure. We also installed new siding and gutters on the back of the house to ensure a polished and cohesive look. In addition to the sunroom, we built a new deck alongside the addition, complete with safer, less intrusive stairs that free up space in the backyard. To keep the view front and center, we crafted custom “cattle panel” railings designed to minimize visual obstruction while complementing the homeowners’ lifestyle as beef farmers. The result is a versatile sunroom and deck combination that has quickly become the heart of the home. The homeowners love the space and spend more time there than any other room, enjoying the beauty of nature in comfort and style.
